Your new school:

With the new academic year upon us, this Bristol primary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team in the forthcoming month. This school is very friendly and priorities its students' learning and emotional wellbeing. This school, based in TA8, is committed to providing nurturing and stimulating children to learn. It is well recommended by parents and received extremely high reviews too. This role will be in the classroom with the Year 4 teacher, working closely to assist these children in reaching their full potential. This school is on a public bus route and has a car park on site.

Your new role:

This Year 4 Teaching Assistant role requires you to be strong-willed and firm, also helpful towards those young people that you will be mentoring. This school is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to support the class. Previous experience assisting with Maths and English is desirable for this position as you will be leading smaller group interventions and helping children in the class who are struggling with the equipment. This role is testing. Nevertheless, it is rewarding to see how you are making an impact on these children.

Requirements to succeed in your new role:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • Two working references from your most recent jobs that apply relevance to the position
  • Previous experience with KS2 children is desirable
