Are you a qualified and experienced Legionella Risk Assessor looking for a new opportunity?

Acorn by Synergie is seeking a competent and dedicated individual to join their client's team as a Legionella Risk Assessor, based in Bristol. This role will involve working with Water Hygiene, focusing on the assessment and management of legionella risks in various commercial premises around the Southwest region.

The successful candidate will possess an extensive knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG 274, with a minimum qualification of Legionella Risk Assessing. They must also have excellent report writing and technical skills, in order to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to clients.

As a Legionella Risk Assessor, you will be primarily field-based and will be required to travel to various commercial properties in the Southwest and also be within a reasonable distance to North Bristol. Therefore, a full driving license is a must for this role.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

- Conducting legionella risk assessments in accordance with ACoP L8 and HSG 274

- Identifying potential risks and hazards related to water hygiene and developing effective control measures

- Writing clear and concise reports, detailing findings and recommendations for clients

- Liaising with clients and building strong relationships to ensure their compliance with legislations and guidelines

- Carrying out remedial works and supervising the implementation of control measures

- Keeping up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in legionella risk management

- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of assessments and remedial works

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

- Legionella Risk Assessing qualification

- Extensive knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG 274

- Excellent report writing and technical skills

- A full driving license and willingness to travel

- Experience in conducting legionella risk assessments and delivering effective control measures

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

- Flexibility and adaptability to work on a variety of projects
