Our client, Somerset Council is looking for a Project Manager to join their Finance Team.

To manage the transfer of exit activity from Capita currently covered by the "5C's" (5 Councils) contract.

This covers:

  • Revenues and Benefits
  • Revenues and Benefits Helpdesk (Contact Centre)
  • Land Charges

This role includes the liaison with external and internal stakeholders, managing and escalating risk issues in order to ensure a seamless transfer of services back to Somerset Council by the end of Sept 2025.

This is a high profile project and involves the transfer of a regulatory service, involving customer data and frontline customer access. We have been advised by the Executive Director, Resources, Strategy and Transformation, that an internal experienced Project Management resource is unavailable.

Largely remote working but some attendance at County Hall may be required
