Sonic Summary

Venn Group is seeking multiple Infrastructure Virtualisation Engineers for a 12-month contract role located in the South West, requiring SC clearance.
The position is inside IR35 and offers a salary dependent on experience (DOE).
Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in the defence industry, focusing on design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
Key skills include hands-on experience with VMware ESXi, VSAN, vCenter, NSX, and Horizon, along with a relevant virtualisation certification such as VMware VCP.
Preferred qualifications include experience in public sector projects and delivering secure solutions in large virtualisation environments.

Venn Group Infrastructure Virtualisation Engineer SC Cleared 12 month Contract On-site South West Inside IR35 (DOE)

Our client require multiple Infrastructure Virtualisation Engineers to join on a long-term contract.

Responsibilities:

Support the team for the design, development and validation of all virtualisation components
Production and review of all levels of design artefacts
Supporting wide system testing activities
Work alongside Service Management to resolve issues

Skills Required:

3+ years of experience within the defence industry with understanding of design, implementation and troubleshooting
Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi (distributed virtual switches, resource scheduler and power management)
Hands-on experience with VMWare VSAN, vCenter, VMware NSX and VMware Horizon
Virtualisation certification e.g. VMware VCP or similar
SC Clearance

Desirable:

Experience working within public sector/defence/Defence Ditial
Experience delivering accredited secure solutions within the public dector
Previously worked on Large Virtualisation infrastructure environments that operate to scale
