This role will be highly active in its initial stages due to a backlog of DSARs, eventually transitioning into a steadier workload. The successful candidate will manage a team of 50, including 5 direct reports, ensuring the effective delivery of disclosure services, particularly document search, redaction, and redaction QA. A strong understanding of professional privileged documents and information rights is desirable. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 50, with 5 direct reports, ensuring high-quality delivery across all disclosure operations.
  • Oversee processes including document search, redaction, and redaction quality assurance.
  • Manage disclosure tasks for DSARs, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Provide expertise on professional privileged documents, ensuring high standards of confidentiality and compliance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to clear the DSAR backlog efficiently.
  • Foster collaboration across teams and maintain a focus on quality and compliance.
  • Support team members’ development through coaching and performance management.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing large teams and delivering outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous exposure to DSARs, disclosure, or information rights is highly advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of professional privileged documents.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team of direct and indirect reports effectively.
  • Experience overseeing quality assurance and compliance processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
