Health Care Assistant Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care to new clients in their own homes.
- Support the setup of care packages, including documentation and equipment checks.
- Assist with the introduction of the client’s permanent care team
- Maintain accurate care records and adhere to CQC regulations
- Work flexibly to respond to urgent referrals across a wide geographical area
- Collaborate with the Mobilisation Team to ensure a smooth transition for clients
Health Care Assistant Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in complex care, supporting adults and children
- Previous experience in a rapid response role (desirable)
- A full, clean driving licence with access to your own vehicle
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- A flexible and proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently
