Panoramic Associates is pleased to be working with a short breaks service in Wiltshire, seeking an Interim Care Manager to join their team immediately until March 2025, offering a competitive daily rate.

This role will focus on managing a respite service for children and young people (up to 18 years old) with SEND, providing essential support to their families. As Interim Care Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations and ensure the highest level of care for those who use the service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage activities tailored to the needs of young people with SEND.
  • Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring safeguarding protocols are followed.
  • Lead and manage staff, including rota management.
  • Conduct assessments and placements of children and young people into the service.
  • Develop and oversee individual support plans.
  • Attend and manage internal and external agency meetings.
What We're Looking For:
  • A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Experience working with SEND children and young people.
  • Prior experience managing short break services.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
