Dynamics AX Application Specialist

Up to £60,000 per annum

4 days a week in Wiltshire / Sutton in Ashfield

Brief:

My end-user client is looking for an experienced Dynamics AX Application Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis.

In this role you'll work closely with numerous business functions across the organisation to drive continuous improvement and efficiency across the system.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the business in optimising the use of its ERP systems by being part of internal reviews to identify areas for improvement and lead delivery of the optimisations.
  • Review and Interpret change requests and business requirements into functional design documents and enable effective implementation of changes.
  • Own relevant help desk tickets and provide user support for the ERP systems, integrations and 3rd party applications across all business functions.
  • Identify improvements to business reporting and data analysis including delivering those improvements or documenting the functional requirements.

Required Experience:

  • Manufacturing business background with experience of implementing and supporting Enterprise systems
  • 3 years' + experience of ideally working with Dynamics AX2012 in a manufacturing environment
  • Good working knowledge of at least 4 of the following modules: Finance, Sales & Marketing, Inventory Management, Supply Chain and Procurement, Production, Planning, Customer Services.
  • Understanding of full project life cycle implementation of business systems
