Are you an experienced insurance team leader/manager with a passion for coaching and mentoring/training staff, or perhaps you've been an account executive yourself and keen to launch your career as a trainer? This exciting opportunity allows you to shape the future of insurance professionals by developing & delivering Account Executive training to both aspiring and experienced Account Executives.

This is a unique job opportunity to leverage your insurance expertise and develop, support, and train the next generation of Account Executives.

What you'll do:

  • Deliver Impactful Training: You'll be responsible for a 13-month training course designed to equip aspiring and experienced account executives with the skills they need to succeed in a sales-focused commercial or personal lines Account Executive role.
  • You'll support learners with modern skills and tools to help them achieve their career goals.
  • This is a remote role with regular on-site training sessions in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, and Dublin. (Onsite once per week) You'll balance your time between in-person training, virtual training sessions, and support learners with course development and their portfolios.
  • Create and implement effective training plans tailored to apprentices' needs.
  • Facilitate engaging and meaningful sessions that help learners understand core insurance sales concepts and best practices.
  • Support Learner Progression: Conduct monthly progress reviews and provide targeted feedback to support ongoing development.
  • Establish lasting relationships with apprentices, clients, and apprentice managers, ensuring a positive learning experience.
  • Enrol learners, update progress reports and ensure alignment with company and apprenticeship standards.

Essential skills and experience for success

  • Charismatic, confident, and energetic personality
  • Proven experience in insurance sales leadership/coaching/training or experience as an account executive
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for training and development
  • Experience in either personal lines or commercial insurance
  • Cert CII qualified as a minimum
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
