Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer x2 – 3-6 months + - Predominantly Remote Working – Midlands – November Start

Venn Group’s Specialist Legal Team is currently seeking legal professionals to join a Local Authority as a Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer in the Midlands area.

Position: Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer

Organisation: Midlands based Local Authority

Duration: 3-month initial contract with a view of extension thereafter

Working pattern: Full time, predominantly remote working with the exception of attending the office/court on occasion

Hourly rate: Flexible DOE

Skill level: Skill level: Qualified Lawyer (Solicitors, Barristers and highly experienced CILEX professionals)

Our client has two vacancies to start at the beginning and the end of November so should your current assignment be coming to an end or if you have a longer notice period, this role would be suitable for you.

This position is ideally suited for candidates with prior experience working in Local Government who can effectively manage their own caseload of Adult Social Care matters and provide comprehensive legal advice. Responsibilities may include drafting and managing court applications and orders across various courts, coordinating with and instructing counsel for court proceedings, and facilitating professional meetings to discuss case strategies and progress. Whilst additional experience in Education is advantageous, it is not a requirement.
