Locum Commercial Lawyer – Initial 3-Month Contract (Portential to Extend) – Remote Working – Up to £55 per Hour

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join a Local Authority in the East Midlands on a locum basis.

The Role

As part of a collaborative and dynamic team, you will:

  • Provide expert legal advice on UK and EU contract and procurement matters, to include the new Procurement Act 2023.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts, agreements, and documentation for significant projects.
  • Handle a diverse and fast-paced caseload while upholding exceptional professional standards.

Key Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 3 years PQE in contracts and procurement law, ideally within a local government setting.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail in file management and time recording.

Start Date:
