Job Overview

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Lead to oversee the end-to-end delivery of hard and soft services contracts within Facilities Management. The role involves finalising business requirements, developing future specifications, evaluating suitable delivery models, and ensuring an efficient procurement process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the review, scoping, commissioning, and delivery of a fit-for-purpose Facilities Management contract covering both hard and soft services
  • Assess and recommend appropriate delivery model options that align with strategic objectives
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including service providers and subcontractors, to ensure effective contract execution
  • Work closely with procurement teams to ensure compliance, efficiency, and value for money
  • Collaborate with project management to ensure seamless contract execution and timely delivery
  • Ensure all commissioning activities are effectively planned, reported, and delivered within scope, budget, and risk parameters

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in procuring, delivering, and managing hard and soft services contracts within Facilities Management
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects from procurement through to completion
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data to drive decision-making
  • Strong commercial and financial awareness
  • Comfortable working remotely with occasional on-site visits
