We are seeking an Interim Managing Director to lead a thriving organisation based in the South West of England. About the Role: As Interim Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in steering the business through an exciting phase of change and development. Reporting directly to the Board, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, delivering strategic objectives, and ensuring the continued growth and profitability of the organisation. Key Responsibilities: - Provide strong leadership to the executive team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation. - Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational performance and meet business goals. - Manage key stakeholder relationships, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. - Oversee all aspects of production, supply chain, and quality assurance to maintain high standards and compliance. - Identify opportunities for growth and efficiency, driving initiatives to achieve sustainable success. - Act as a trusted advisor to the Board, providing clear updates and recommendations on business performance and direction. About You: To succeed in this role, you will need: - Significant experience as a senior leader within the food manufacturing or FMCG sector. - A strong understanding of production processes, supply chain management, and quality assurance in a regulated environment. - Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence at all levels. - A track record of delivering results in dynamic and fast-paced environments. - Strategic vision coupled with a hands-on approach to operational challenges. - Availability to commit to an interim contract of a minimum of 6 months, with immediate or short-notice availability preferred.
