Certain Advantage are working with a global Engineering and Technical services firm to hire a Commercial Manager to be based out of their Somerset offices.

The Opportunity:

Join our clients growing team in the Nuclear Power Programmes division, dedicated to shaping the future of nuclear energy and supporting Net Zero and Energy Security goals. They are expanding across the UK and Europe, working on diverse nuclear projects at various stages of development.

We are currently recruiting a Project Engineer to contribute to a major new build project in the UK. If you are passionate about nuclear energy and want to make a positive impact, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in delivering work aligned with safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
  • Collaborate with teams to define clear requirements and deliverables for contracts or work packages.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams to successfully deliver projects on site.
  • Ensure safe, timely, and effective execution of projects, maintaining all necessary project documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all technical and business requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project delivery and knowledge of Project Management principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project teams from concept to operation.
  • Familiarity with strong health and safety practices and relevant legislation.
  • Experience in construction or highly regulated industries is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate diverse teams to meet project schedules.
