Walker Cole International is seeking a Laboratory Manager to lead a dynamic microbiology team within a pioneering life sciences company. This full-time role, based in the South West of UK, offers an exceptional opportunity to oversee laboratory operations focused on the development and production of high-quality microbial-based products.

Key Responsibilities as the Laboratory Manager:

  • Oversee daily operations of the microbiology laboratory, ensuring adherence to ISO 17025 standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead and mentor a team of microbiologists and laboratory technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement laboratory protocols and procedures to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safety in all testing and production processes.
  • Ensure all laboratory activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
