Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Band 7 Physiotherapist to join the Post Covid-19 Assessment Service & ME/CFS team. This role involves delivering specialist respiratory physiotherapy care for patients with long-term conditions, including post-Covid-19 syndrome and ME/CFS. The position includes a mix of remote and community-based work, allowing you to make a significant impact on patient rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 self-management support for patients with ME/CFS and Post Covid-19 Syndrome.
  • Independently manage a complex caseload, ensuring high-quality, patient-focused care.
  • Deliver specialist respiratory physiotherapy interventions and work closely with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Contribute to clinical best practices and drive positive patient outcomes.
Essential Requirements:
  • HCPC-registered Physiotherapist with relevant clinical experience.
  • Expertise in managing respiratory conditions, long-term conditions, and breathing re-training.
  • Experience in group work and rehabilitation.
  • Knowledge of Post Covid-19 Syndrome and ME/CFS is desirable.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently.
