Ensuring variety, you will be writing bids across a range of sectors and services.Requirements:Essential:• Educated to NVQ Level 4, HND, Degree qualified or equivalent.• Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast paced environment with demonstrable experience of prioritising workloads and working to deadlines.• Be able to think creatively, work independently and use your initiative.• Possess excellent communication, English Language and proofreading skills. Interpersonal skills will allow you to work with other business functions.• Have meticulous attention to detail.• An understanding of procurement and the bid writing process. Desirable: • At least 1 years’ work experience in a professional environment.• Previous bid writing experienceNB: • Applicants must be able to provide evidence of their Right to Work in the UK.• All roles with our client require a DBS check; Our client will cover the cost of this if you do not already hold a valid DBS certificate.Responsibilities and duties:Working with our wider team and with mentoring support from our Bid Support Partners, you will be developing the skills to be our Lead Writer and future Bid Manager. You will have ownership for the tender process and a sample of tasks you’ll be learning and responsible for as a Graduate/Trainee include:• Delivering bid project management, planning and coordination.• Analysing bid requirements to develop the best possible bid submission.• Researching buyers, competitors and best practice.• Assisting with drafting, reviewing, writing and submitting persuasive tender responses.• Monitoring daily tender opportunities and portal notifications. Maintaining and updating the Tender Library and corporate filing systems.• Adding value to our bids through creativity, knowledge and ideas.• Building effective working relationships with our teams and communicating with customers.• Ensuring compliance with all bid requirements.BenefitsWhy join us?
