Our supply teachers enjoy flexible working schedules and the opportunity to teach in a variety of schools across N. Somerset. We work with a large network of schools that require daily cover across all key stages. As a supply teacher, you may also be required for general cover, meaning you will sometimes teach outside of your subject specialism.
As a supply teacher, you will:- Be available at least two days a week
- Live within a reasonable distance of N. Somerset
- Hold a valid UK DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for a new one through Academics)
- Confidently deliver lessons to full classes or small groups across various key stages
- Effectively manage classroom behaviour
- Keep students engaged and adapt your teaching style to meet different learning needs
QTS is essential to be considered for supply teaching roles with Academics in N. Somerset.
