�? Exciting Opportunity for a Highly Skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) �?

Role Overview:

Tradewind are working with primary schools who are looking to appoint a HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) to work with their KS1/KS2 students in North Somerset. This role will involve PPA cover for teachers and focus primarily on the delivery of some English, Maths and Functional Skills.

As a HLTA (Higher-Level Teaching Assistant), you will play a pivotal role in supporting the education and well-being of our students. Your responsibilities will include assisting children, providing essential support to teachers, and leading classes when the teacher is unavailable.

This is a Temporary to Permanent position starting January 2025 and this will be a full-time position. You will be paid to scale and is dependent on qualifications and experience.

Key Duties:

SEND Support: Work closely with students who require additional assistance, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Classroom Leadership: Take charge of lessons in the absence of the teacher, ensuring a seamless continuation of the curriculum.

Curriculum Assistance: Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver tailored support and interventions, fostering individualized learning experiences.

Behaviour Management: Contribute to maintaining a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere, employing effective behaviour management strategies.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow educators, parents, and external professionals to ensure the holistic development of each child.
