Social Worker, £43ph, Family Support Team, Bath & North East Somerset Pertemps are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the Family Support team in Bath and North East Somerset. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a Team Manager or Deputy Team Manager to assess, plan, and implement care plans for children and families in need of support. This role involves managing complex caseloads, ensuring service and care plans are implemented in line with legislation, and working collaboratively with multi-agency teams.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and develop service/care plans for children and families in line with legislation.
  • Manage a caseload of children and families with complex needs, ensuring support is comprehensive and coordinated.
  • Participate in safeguarding investigations and work with external agencies to promote the welfare of children.
  • Maintain up-to-date case records and contribute to team objectives and development.
  • Ensure equality, diversity, and inclusion in service delivery.
  • Participate in team and cross-service initiatives to improve outcomes for children and families.
Role Requirements:
  • Qualification in Social Work (Degree, DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Extensive post-qualifying experience in a statutory child and family setting, with a sound understanding of safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
