- Screen and process referrals, making well-informed recommendations for next steps.
- Evaluate and handle police notifications of domestic abuse incidents as part of the Domestic Abuse Hub, working with partner agencies such as Health, Education, Police, Early Help, and Women’s Aid.
- Effectively communicate with service users, colleagues, and partner agencies.
- Deliver high-quality assessments, reports, and interventions to safeguard children and support families.
- Qualified Social Worker (DipSW, CQSW, CSS, or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years’ statutory social care experience.
- Skilled in assessments, report writing, and managing complex caseloads.
- A passion for safeguarding children and improving their lives.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively within a multi-agency setting.
- Salary: £35,235 - £39,513 (plus £5,000 market supplement).
