Pertemps is seeking a Senior Practitioner for the Early Help and Prevention team in Children's Social Work in East Yorkshire.
The position offers a pay rate of £31.21 per hour and requires extensive experience working with children and families facing complex issues.
Candidates must have a degree in a relevant discipline and experience in case management and delivering targeted group work.
A strong understanding of economic and social factors affecting high-risk situations for children is essential, along with the ability to engage challenging families.
This is an agency role with support from a dedicated consultant and opportunities for other social work positions if this role does not fit.

Senior Practitioner, Early Help and Prevention, Children’s Social Work, East Yorkshire Pay rate £31.21 per hour Contract role, Early Help Team Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Early Help Practitioner in East Yorkshire You will need:

A Degree in relevant discipline relating to children and families.

Extensive experience of working with children, young people and families experiencing complex and high-risk issues to deliver preventative interventions to tackle issues on a one to one and / or group basis.

A good understanding of the range of economic and social issues that contribute to high-risk situations and are likely to lead to poor outcomes for children and their families in the East Riding.

Experience of case management including undertaking whole family assessments to identify risk and need and develop multi-agency plans in partnership with families and partner agencies.

Experience of delivering targeted / group work

Ability to engage and motivate children, young people and families who are difficult to engage.

Experience of developing trauma informed practices and successfully undertaking the approach in various settings with positive results for those involved.
