Senior Practitioner, Early Help and Prevention, Children’s Social Work, East Yorkshire Pay rate £31.21 per hour Contract role, Early Help Team Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Early Help Practitioner in East Yorkshire You will need: 
  • A Degree in relevant discipline relating to children and families. 
  • Extensive experience of working with children, young people and families experiencing complex and high-risk issues to deliver preventative interventions to tackle issues on a one to one and / or group basis. 
  • A good understanding of the range of economic and social issues that contribute to high-risk situations and are likely to lead to poor outcomes for children and their families in the East Riding. 
  • Experience of case management including undertaking whole family assessments to identify risk and need and develop multi-agency plans in partnership with families and partner agencies. 
  • Experience of delivering targeted / group work 
  • Ability to engage and motivate children, young people and families who are difficult to engage. 
  • Experience of developing trauma informed practices and successfully undertaking the approach in various settings with positive results for those involved.
