- A Degree in relevant discipline relating to children and families.
- Extensive experience of working with children, young people and families experiencing complex and high-risk issues to deliver preventative interventions to tackle issues on a one to one and / or group basis.
- A good understanding of the range of economic and social issues that contribute to high-risk situations and are likely to lead to poor outcomes for children and their families in the East Riding.
- Experience of case management including undertaking whole family assessments to identify risk and need and develop multi-agency plans in partnership with families and partner agencies.
- Experience of delivering targeted / group work
- Ability to engage and motivate children, young people and families who are difficult to engage.
- Experience of developing trauma informed practices and successfully undertaking the approach in various settings with positive results for those involved.
