Java Software Engineer

SR2 have recently partnered with exciting and innovative new client! Their technology essentially helps to monitor and maintain electrical systems, in industries such as oil and gas along with Railway. Their specialist, high tech tools are even able to be used underwater and prevent failures, save money and ultiamtely keep these systems running smoothly! They also have IoT products and digital twinning architecture.

The company are a smaller sized business, with under 100 employees with some ambitious growth plans over the next few years. It's a highly collaborative and supportive environment, where employees with be encouraged and rewarded for your contributon to the company. It will not go unnoticed!

The role

We are looking to hire an experienced Java Software Engineer, who is able to come into their office 3 days per week to work within their highly collaborative software team.

As a Software Engineer in the team, you'll be designing, implementing and verifying data pipelines and backend functionalities. Working with Azure CI/CD and building robust software, alligning with best practices and using agile development. This team are all about producing the highest quality, and work closely together to ensure they are doing the best work.

You'll be involved from everything from designing, development, testing and infrastructure - so can get your hands on a bit of everything to do with software engineering.

Technologies they work with include Java, Spring boot, Azure, Linux, JetBrains, GitLab CI/CD Pipelines, SQL Databases + more

Experience required:

  • This role would suit a strong mid-weight level commercial experience
