About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our client's innovative medical technology team. You'll be working on complex medical devices, collaborating with a tight-knit team of engineers to develop and enhance sophisticated diagnostic instruments.

What You'll Do

  • Lead system engineering initiatives across mechanical, electrical, and electronic components
  • Design and optimise complex medical device systems including actuators, motors, and electronic boards
  • Develop and update instrument designs to address manufacturing challenges
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of all system components
  • Drive continuous improvement in product design and functionality

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in medical technology
  • Strong background in complex electrical medical devices
  • Demonstrated expertise in mechanical engineering
  • Hands-on experience with electronic product development
  • Experience with moving parts and system integration

Desired Experience

  • IVD Diagnostics background
  • Medical device regulatory knowledge
