About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our client's innovative medical technology team. You'll be working on complex medical devices, collaborating with a tight-knit team of engineers to develop and enhance sophisticated diagnostic instruments.
What You'll Do
- Lead system engineering initiatives across mechanical, electrical, and electronic components
- Design and optimise complex medical device systems including actuators, motors, and electronic boards
- Develop and update instrument designs to address manufacturing challenges
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of all system components
- Drive continuous improvement in product design and functionality
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in medical technology
- Strong background in complex electrical medical devices
- Demonstrated expertise in mechanical engineering
- Hands-on experience with electronic product development
- Experience with moving parts and system integration
Desired Experience
- IVD Diagnostics background
- Medical device regulatory knowledge
