The firm is looking for a proactive and motivated Agency / General Practice Surveyor to join their team and contribute to the continued success of their growing business.

Role Purpose

In this key role, you will be responsible for managing the letting and sale of commercial properties, including office, industrial, and retail spaces, across the Somerset region. You will also support the preparation of various reports and conduct essential market research. Your work will be crucial in driving the business forward, ensuring clients receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve conducting property viewings, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety protocols. Over time, you will prepare marketing materials, such as marketing reports and progress updates for both new and existing instructions. You will enter accurate information into the Contour system, ensuring listings are updated across the firm's website and relevant property portals. You will be the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and responding to enquiries from applicants.

Additionally, you will negotiate with interested parties, prepare Heads of Agreement for deals, and monitor the progress of transactions once they're with solicitors, ensuring everything runs smoothly. You will also assist the Partner with consultancy work and report preparation when required.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a RICS qualification (or similar, though this is not essential), and be highly proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant industry software. You will be a self-starter, capable of working independently and as part of a team, with strong research and analytical skills. The role requires someone who is organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to key, as you will be liaising with clients, colleagues, and third parties.

A full, clean driving licence is required, and a positive, can-do attitude is essential. You should be able to uphold the firm's high standards of professionalism, while adapting to new challenges with enthusiasm.

Primary Location
