Titan are currently working with a very successful manufacturing company based in Dumbarton who are looking for a Spray Painter to join their team.

The purpose of the role is tosatisfy all spray painting requirements within the workshop, by working to efficient and effective working practices. You will ensure safety and quality standards are maintained, and ensure all job specifications comply with company and client requirements.

Role responsibilities -
  • Operate spray painting equipment, including set-up, adjustment and preparation
  • Read and correctly interpret paint data, as well as technical and safety data sheets
  • Cleaning, preparation and masking of components in readiness for painting
  • Spray painting of components to agreed specification
  • Rolling and touching up of components to agreed specification
  • Masking and shot blasting of components to agreed specification using wheelabrator shotblaster
  • Read and interpret data on paint containers
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Adopt a flexible approach to multi tasking
  • Maintain machinery and parts to ensure equipment remains in sound operating condition
  • Regularly clean and inspect tools and equipment for reliability and usability after every operation
  • Work as part of a team following instructions as required
  • Undertake training on tasks and equipment as and when required
  • Support the wider team and departments in terms of ad-hoc tasks and projects
  • Contribute to the wider business, acting safely, professionally and ethically at all times

Requirements -
  • Previous experience with a similar environment is essential
  • Must have personal commitment to safety and environmental standards
  • Build and develop effective relationships and use these to improve performance
  • Strong communication and team working skills

The company offers a great working environment, working Monday to Friday (early finish on a Friday!)
