We are working with an education provider in Central Scotland who are looking to recruit a Engineering Assessor/Verifier for their suite of Engineering SVQ/MAs which include Aeronautical, Commissioning, Electrical, Fab/Weld and Mechanical Engineering.
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a position at a longstanding and reputable training and education provider who have a specialism in engineering skills.
The job role would consist of you travelling to workplaces in order to assess learners on their practical Engineering skills. Most of the assessments would take place in the Central Scotland area. You would be able to manage your own diary in order to get round your caseload in the best way possible. You would need to visit their centre once a week, and for occasional standardisation meetings, but in general you would be able to work from home most days.
The starting salary for this position is 35,000 per annum, which would also include a workplace pension, a business mileage allowance, and 32 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays). They would also be able to upskill you through your verifier award.
To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
-An Engineering qualification
-Hands-on industrial experience of Engineering
-An assessor award
