Locum CT & Plain Film Radiographer – South Scotland

Are you a skilled Radiographer with expertise in CT and plain film imaging? An exciting locum opportunity is available in the scenic South Scotland region, offering enhanced rates and accommodation to support your stay.

Role Details:

  • Location: South Scotland
  • Modalities: CT and Plain Film
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)
  • Working Hours: Full-time
  • Pay Rate: Enhanced rates – up to £45 per hour (DOE)
  • Accommodation: Onsite 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-quality CT scans and plain film X-rays for a variety of clinical indications.
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment to produce accurate and diagnostic images.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety, maintaining a compassionate approach at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support efficient patient care and imaging processes.
  • Follow departmental protocols and maintain accurate patient records.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration (essential)
  • Proficiency in CT imaging and plain film radiography
  • Experience with CT Canon scanners and Siemens general equipment is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability and a proactive approach to work in a fast-paced environment
