?? Youngstock Manager Dairy - Scotland - Up to £40,000 + 3 bed Accommodation!!! ??
We are looking for a motivated Youngstock Manager to oversee the rearing of calves from day one until they join the dairy herd. If you have prior dairy experience and a passion for calf rearing, this role could be ideal for you!
Responsibilities:
- Managing all aspects of calf rearing, including feeding, bedding, hygiene, and treatments
- Overseeing dehorning, outside work, and seasonal tractor work
- Ensuring calves grow into high-performing animals ready for the dairy herd
- Working with modern facilities to maintain high standards in youngstock management
Requirements:
- Previous experience in dairy or calf rearing
- Strong work ethic and ability to manage a range of tasks independently
- Attention to detail in animal care and hygiene
