Randstad is recruiting a team of talented Adult Care Assistant/ Support Worker to join a unique packages supporting vulnerable adults with learning disabilities, living within supported tenancies. The role within this type of team is not without challenges but will also be very rewarding. You will support the individual to live their lives as independently as possible and maximize their opportunities. Prompting healthy living and creating a strong bond with the individual client. This is a great opportunity to affect real change into the lives of vulnerable adults and their family.This role involves providing support to Adults or elders on the (but not limited to) autism spectrum, Dementia, Learning Disabilities, and physical disabilities. Our residence provides a nurturing environment where you can truly make a difference to the individual. Opportunities for day and waking night patterns.

A successful Support Worker will be responsible for:- Working effectively with the manager, team and family members- Establishing good daily routines and performing personal care- Displaying the emotional resilience to support service users with life limiting condition- Working to a flexible schedule, including night shifts, weekends and bank holidays- Keeping a positive and friendly attitude! You may be the only people the service users see that day

To be successful in your Support Worker application, you will:- Have previous experience working with adults with complex needs- Experience in, or prepared to undertake training in medication administration and moving and handling- Have strong communication skills- Register under the PVG scheme- Full driving licence (Essential)
