Bpi Dumfries specialises in both the recycling of waste polythene and the manufacturing of plastic lumber, there is an opportunity for a Manufacturing Support Apprentice to join the Dumfries team.Reporting to the engineering manager, they will assist the management team with general administration duties including the control of engineering and production stock levels and replenishment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Engineering and production stock control

Purchasing and store control

Liaising with suppliers, ensuring best price and delivery times

Carry out Lab testing and documentation of finished production items

General administration duties

Reporting and analysis

Qualifications:

5 GCSEs at grade A-C/ 4-9 including Maths and English

Good IT skills

We are looking for the successful apprentice to be driven, enthusiastic, hardworking team player and able to work on their own initiative, with minimum supervision.

Be organised and demonstrate clear communication.

The apprenticeship in Business Administration will be supported by Dumfries College.

Full training will be provided.
