Assistant HSE Engineer
Certain Advantage is hiring for an Assistant HSE Engineer based in the Scotland area.
This role is on a permanent basis and is site-based.

The Role:This role is for an Assistant HSE Engineer-someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You'll be results-orientated and driven to succeed.
You'll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:
- Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of the HSE Management system and progress against HSE Performance Standards.
- Development and implementation of Projects HS procedures and arrangements.
- Work with Station ISE and Environmental Safety Engineers to coordinate Project scope of work, share best practices and implement HSE initiatives.
We're looking for people who can show:
- HNC in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent
- IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management.
- Current qualification/knowledge of the CDM Regulations. NEBOSH General Certificate, Construction Certificate or NVQ Level 3.
- Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) desirable.
- Suitable relevant experience working as an HSE Professional in a project context.
