Reed Accountancy are delighted to be working exclusively with a returning client who are looking to bring in an accounts administrator to take ownership of a variety of duties related to various invoicing tasks and cost recording.

 The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, assisting with month-end and year-end processes, and providing administrative support to the site team. This role requires a proactive individual who can liaise effectively with both internal and external parties.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Collate delivery tickets and timesheets from sites and input GRN and timesheet information onto the electronic site cost recording system.
  • Maintain the site filing structure for delivery tickets and timesheets to ensure efficient recall of records.
  • Assist the site team with delivery and invoice queries, liaising with suppliers, the internal Buying team, and Admin/Finance colleagues as needed.
  • Support month-end and year-end processes, verifying the accuracy of contract costs with head office and site teams.
  • Contribute to the development of the Company’s Coins reporting system.
  • Provide general administrative support and attend to health and safety procedures related to the role.
  • Attend training courses as arranged by the company and carry out other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within a construction or site-based environment.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with various stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • A valid driving licence as the role includes travel to various project sites.
