We are excited to announce an opening for a Senior Grants Auditor in their Dundee office. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial integrity and compliance of our diverse portfolio of grants, spanning prestigious public sector and commercial clients across Scotland.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan and organise work on allocated grant audits, conducting fieldwork remotely or onsite as required.
  • Liaise with clients to gather documentary evidence, set up files, and address queries.
  • Keep the grant partner updated on progress and draft audit reports.
  • Review and clear trainee fieldwork before final review and ensure all review points are addressed.
  • Support team members with grant work and provide guidance on project rules.
  • Attend meetings with new clients and handle grant-related queries.
  • Participate in training and share knowledge with staff.
  • Contribute to tenders and create content for the website and LinkedIn.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Fully qualified (CA, ACCA, CIA or equivalent) or part-qualified with significant practical experience.
  • Minimum two years of experience in accountancy practice, ideally in audit.
  • Grant audit experience is beneficial but not essential (training provided).
  • Strong numerical, data analysis, and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues across sectors.
  • Client-focused, commercially aware, and organised under tight deadlines.
  • Solid technical knowledge with a proactive approach to CPD.
  • Committed to high personal and professional standards with task ownership.
  • Proficient in IT; experience with audit software is advantageous.
