CAD Technician (Training on CNC Machines)

Are you a CAD Technician or similar who is proficient in SolidWorks/ AutoCAD looking for a varied and exciting role within a new expanding company who offer full training on how to operate and program CNC Machines and the chance to work on dynamic projects?
This family run company have been operating since 2023 specialising in the measurement, supply and installation of stone surfaces within the residential and commercial industry. They are now looking to increase their friendly team to help with their ongoing goals of expansion and establishment of their business.
This varied role will see you creating and refining detailed designs based on client requirements as well as setting up, programming and operating CNC machinery. You will initially receive training on how to use CNC Machines (specifically 3-Axis machines) work within a tight-knit team of 6 covering all departments as you work on site Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.
This exciting role would suit a CAD Technician or similar, looking for a varied design role within a growing company offering the opportunity to make your mark on the business.
The Role:
- Create 2D designs using CAD software
- Analyse and amend designs
- Programme and operate CNC machinery
- Training on 3 Axis CNC Machines (setting, operating and programming)
- Working closely with other team members
- Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm Friday
The Person:
- CAD Technician or similar
- Proficient in SolidWorks or AutoCAD
- Looking for training on / experience using CNC Machines
- Based in Dundee
