Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Shift Team Leader, you will:
- Support the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the Energy from Waste facility.
- Assist in overseeing plant operations from the control room and on-site.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Carry out routine plant inspections, maintenance, and adjustments.
- Control and operate the Safe System of Work as an Authorised Person.
- Maintain accurate operational records and reports.
- Participate in ongoing training and development.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- A recognised engineering qualification in a relevant discipline.
- IOSH
- Authorised Person or Senior Authorised Person status in Safe Systems of Work (desirable).
- Experience working in a similar environment such as power generation, chemical, defence, etc.
- Strong understanding of regulatory, environmental, and HSE requirements.
