A well-known and established company in Dundee is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their close-knit team. Nicholas Hendry has partnered exclusively with them to fill this exciting vacancy.

In this role, you'll be a key player, managing a portfolio of customer credit accounts and ensuring timely payments and adherence to credit limits.

What you'll do:

  • Proactively chase overdue balances via phone, email, and written communication.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer details and account management processes within the ERP system.
  • Handle customer queries and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Liaise with internal and external parties regarding account management.
  • Assist with cash posting and allocation when required.
  • Partner with the Financial Controller on bad debt provisions and credit control analysis.
  • Support the Senior Accountant in monthly credit limit reviews.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements of credit control functions within the ERP system.

What you bring:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to interpret credit reports and company accounts.
