Due to continued growth, an experienced Electrician is needed to join our team at the McInnes Group on a full-time basis, covering Dundee and the surrounding area. McInnes Group Ltd is an award-winning heating, renewable energy, and electrical company.

About Us

McInnes Group Ltd are an award-winning company at the forefront of new technology. We carry out work for large corporations with several years of ongoing contracts as well as private bespoke projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Domestic and small commercial heating & renewable technology installations
  • Engage with clients and subcontractors where necessary to ensure successful delivery of projects
  • Participate in learning and development (including training) to achieve relevant knowledge, skills and understanding
  • Work on a day to day basis in line with the company’s core values
  • Work safely at all times
  • Pass on experience and skills to apprentices / younger members of the team
  • Other duties reasonably requested by Managers/Directors

Required Experience:

  • 18th edition (training can be provided to achieve 18th for the right person)
  • In date ECS grade card
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience with domestic installation & maintenance
  • Pro-active team player who is self motivated
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral & written
  • Ability to work both independently & within a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Flexible approach to work with an ability to prioritise and manage your time effectively
  • A strong interest in renewable energy

Desirable Experience:

  • Gas boiler installations
  • EV charging installations
  • Solar PV & Battery storage installations
  • Air source Heat pump installations
  • Tetra working at heights
