Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their Customer & Colleague Engagement Centre (CCEC) in Dundee. This role involves managing all financial aspects of the CCEC, including budget setting, business case valuations, and day-to-day financial routines. The position offers a blended working environment, with a minimum of three days per week at the CCEC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead a high-performing team, providing opportunities for team members to excel.
  • Ensure the Customer & Colleague Engagement Centre (CCEC) has sufficient budget at the start of the year to service customers and deliver change plans.
  • Collaborate with all Finance teams that the CCEC supports to ensure accurate accounting for CCEC costs.
  • Develop business cases for new work or trials introduced to the CCEC, ensuring all costs are fully understood.
  • Submit and approve any capital investments through the Capital Approvals Group, documenting all benefits and costs.
  • Adhere to all corporate and legal processes, ensuring timely compliance.
  • Track actual spend versus budget, identifying opportunities to save, manage potential overspends, and invest where necessary.
  • Contribute to the overall strategy and tactical plans of the CCEC operations.
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder understanding of the CCEC's role and contribution, facilitating appropriate financial decisions throughout the year.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Qualifications:ACCA, ICAS, or ACMA qualified.
  • Budget Management:Proven experience in budget setting and control
  • Attention to Detail:Strong understanding of financial processes and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:Ability to engage and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Creative Problem-Solving:Creative thinker with robust problem-solving skills.
  • Decision Making:Subject matter expert capable of making decisions that benefit colleagues and customers.
  • Analytical Skills:Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and trends.
  • Call Centre Experience:Background in call centres is preferred.
  • Process Improvement:Experience in improving financial processes.
  • People Management:Demonstrated experience in managing and leading teams.
