Our client is a reputable facilities management company committed to providing high-quality maintenance services to commercial properties. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced gas engineer to join our team on a temporary basis.Your new roleYour responsibilities will include both the installation and maintenance of gas works on commercial properties, including;
- Performing general gas engineering work, including fixing issues with existing gas works.
- Installing new gas works as required.
- Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of gas works.
- Responding to emergency gas engineering issues promptly and efficiently.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
What you'll need to succeed
Our client is looking for a gas engineer with a background in maintenance and who is comfortable in a maintenance environment, working with members of the public. Successful candidates will preferably have experience in gas maintenance on residential properties.Main requirements:
- Proven experience as a maintenance gas engineer
- Relevant gas engineering qualifications (Gas Safe Registration, ACS Certification)
- Valid Driving Licence
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
