We are currently seeking a Permanent Mechanical Engineer for a reputable manufacturing company based in Dundee. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual with a strong mechanical background to join a dynamic team and contribute to cutting-edge projects in the field of automation.
No two projects are ever the same, which also provides variety ensuring continuous learning for all.

Requirements:
- Previous assembly experience in a machine manufacturing environment.
- Building engineering assemblies and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and parts list.
- Routing and install machine wiring (with instructions from electrical engineer).
- Debugging mechanical assemblies and overall machine operation.
- Participate in internal machine trials and client FAT.
- Undertake client machine installation, commissioning and training.
- Good level of communication and problem solving.
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship.
- NC/HNC Engineering discipline
- Experience of using machine tools such as lathes/milling/grinding
