Autograph Recruitment is seeking a meticulous and dependable Payroll Officer/Bookkeeper on behalf of our client. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join a dynamic team, managing payroll and bookkeeping tasks for a variety of clients while ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll for diverse clients, ensuring timely and accurate execution in line with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Perform payroll-related data entry tasks, including setting up new hires, terminations, and updates to employee details.
  • Analyse payroll data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly in collaboration with authorities.
  • Conduct bookkeeping tasks for clients, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial data in accounting software.
  • Support the preparation of management reports by assisting accountants with regular reconciliations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry.
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping, double-entry accounting, and their impact on financial statements.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
