Mobile Maintenance Plumber - Dundee/Fife
Salary is 34,000
Escape Recruitment is partnering with a reputable Plumbing and Heating contractor to fill a full-time, permanent Plumber role in their mobile team.
This exciting opportunity is based primarily in Dundee, Fife and up to Aberdeen but involves occasional travel throughout Scotland. You will be working on commercial contracts for many larger FM providers and water management companies.
Duties include:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on plumbing and mechanical systems within commercial buildings.
- Carry out commercial plumbing work including repairs, replacements, and system upgrades.
- Renovate existing plumbing systems, pipework, and drainage systems.
- Occasionally handle small installation projects as needed.
- Repair, upgrade, and replace hot water systems.
- Install, maintain, and repair cold water booster sets.
- Conduct repairs, replacements, and relining of cold-water storage tanks.
- Perform remedial work in line with Water Byelaws and L8 regulations.
- Repair, replace, and upgrade sanitary-ware fixtures.
- Complete testing and sampling for closed system analysis.
- Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Operate efficiently in a mobile Facilities Management environment.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- SVQ Level 3 Plumbing or equivalent.
- Experience in a fast-paced commercial plumbing environment is preferred.
- L8/water-related experience (desirable but not essential).
- Full UK driving license (maximum of 6 points).
Package:
- Competitive salary up to 34,000.
- Van + fuel card.
- Hours: 8am - 5pm (with 1-hour lunch break).
- 33 days holiday.
- Overtime rates: Mon-Fri at 1.5x, Sat-Sun at 2x.
