- We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a contractor specializing in the repair and protection of built assets within the infrastructure sector.
- The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in a construction environment, particularly with steel and concrete structures.
- In this site-based role, you will manage all contractual and commercial aspects of projects, ensuring high standards and profitability.
- The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders, as well as support an Assistant QS when needed.

As a site-based Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for managing all contractual and commercial elements of the project you're based on, ensuring that the project is delivered to the highest standard while retaining a robust commercially-focused outlook to best ensure the profitability of the job. You will be client-focused, and comfortable developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, including supporting an Assistant QS where required.
We'd like to speak to you about this job if you have:
- Experience as a quantity surveyor within a construction environment, experience of steel and concrete structures in the infrastructure sector preferred
- A strong understanding of construction methods
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work both independently as well as part of a team
- A relevant degree or qualification in quantity surveying
