About the Role

Our client, a leading tyre service provider in Northern Scotland, is looking for an experienced and motivated Commercial/Breakdown Tyre Fitter. In this role, you will work with various commercial vehicles, providing essential tyre fitting services and assistance during breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tyre Fitting & Maintenance: Fit, repair, and replace tyres on commercial vehicles, ensuring all work meets industry standards.
  • Breakdown Assistance: Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide on-site tyre services to help get vehicles back on the road quickly.
  • Inspections & Reporting: Check tyres and vehicle components for any issues and report them for safety.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent service while working efficiently under pressure and represent the company professionally.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow health and safety procedures and regulations in all your work.

About You:

  • Experience: You have previous experience fitting tyres, especially for commercial vehicles, and are confident in your skills.
  • Problem-Solver: You can think quickly and solve tyre-related problems, especially during emergencies.
  • Strong Work Ethic: You are reliable and can work independently or as part of a team.
  • Customer-Focused: You understand the importance of great service and can communicate well with customers, even in stressful situations.
  • Flexible: You are willing to work flexible hours and respond to emergency callouts when needed.

What Were Looking For:

  • Experience as a Tyre Fitter, ideally in a commercial or breakdown setting.
  • Good knowledge of tyre fitting equipment and procedures.
  • A full UK driving licence (HGV licence is a plus but not required).
  • Ability to manage your time effectively and work independently.
  • Commitment to safety and high-quality work.
