Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate assistance to patients with their daily needs.
  • Aid patient’s mobility, ensuring they feel safe and confident.
  • Monitor and document patients' health signs.
  • Be a friendly presence, offering emotional support.
  • Encourage participation in activities and hobbies to enhance patients’ mood and wellbeing.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care is desirable.
  • Minimum of 6 months healthcare experience obtained in the UK.
  • Evidence of full immunity to Hepatitis B, MMR, Tuberculosis & Varicella.
  • Right to work in Northern Ireland.
  • Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy towards others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
