Are you ready to make a difference in the healthcare sector? We are looking for a dedicated and organised Band 3 Scheduling Assistant to join Ulster Hospital. If you thrive in a busy environment and have a passion for helping others, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate Waiting Lists: Manage and validate inpatient and day case waiting lists using our advanced computer systems.
  • Prioritise Workload: Take charge of your tasks, maintain diaries, and schedule appointments while ensuring timely processing of mail and emails.
  • Data Management: Input essential data into the Patient Administration System (PAS) and utilise IT systems to streamline patient access.
  • Policy Compliance: Organise lists according to Department of Health policies, handling cancellations, Did Not Attend (DNA) cases, and suspended patients with care.
  • Theatre Coordination: Collaborate across Trust sites to efficiently organise theatre lists.

What We Offer:

  • Full-Time Hours: 37.5 hours per week from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Initial Contract: A 3-month contract with the possibility of extension based on operational needs.

Who You Are:

  • You possess 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including English Language, or equivalent qualifications.
  • You have at least 1 year of relevant experience in an administrative role, preferably within healthcare.
