Management Accountant - West Lothian, Scotland

Opportunity:

My client a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company are looking for a Management Accountant on a 3 months contract to join their Clinical Supply Services finance team. The role will report directly to the Finance Director where you will primarily be responsible for the execution of the financial processes involved in the preparation and review of transactions in support of the comparator teams activities in sourcing comparator medicines to be used within the clinical trial process of new medicines.

You will prepare, analyse and review all transactions impacting the site, including calculation of accruals and prepayments at month-end close, preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliations, preparation of Management reports and compare to Site Budget. This includes Sales analysis, departmental base cost and headcount reports.

You will prepare and manage Accounts Payable Bank Reconciliation. You will also prepare Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Corporate reporting packages.

This is a 3 months contract based in West Lothian, Scotland which will be reviewed for a possible extension or go permanent dependent on the candidate and business performance. The PAYE rate is between £19.75 to £20.79 per hour.

Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years overall accounting and finance experience in the Pharma/FMCG or manufacturing industries.
  • Either a Accountant or be a part qualified accountant.
  • Intermediate level with Excel and Word.
  • ERP systems experience.
