The Role

As a Structural Technician, you will be working closely with a team of experienced engineers on a wide range of exciting and varied projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Producing detailed structural drawings and designs using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Assisting with the preparation of technical reports, calculations, and specifications
  • Coordinating with other disciplines to ensure project designs are delivered on time and within budget
  • Supporting senior engineers in the development and execution of project deliverables
  • Working with both new build and refurbishment projects across sectors including commercial, residential, and public infrastructure

The Person

The ideal candidate will have a background in structural engineering, with a passion for delivering high-quality work and developing their technical skills. We're looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and keen to contribute to the firm's continued success.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • An HNC/HND in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in the use of AutoCAD and Revit experience would be beneficial
  • Strong communication and team-working skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working in a consultancy environment
  • Familiarity with UK design codes and standards
